3;3 Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate for Wellness + Happyness #7PH

Just like people always say Location Location Location, that’s exactly what I mean when I say Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate because it will change the entire environment of your situation.  Whether you are just having another busy day or getting ready to start a job or step into the Infusion center, you can’t function properly if you are not properly hydrated.  This means I would start focusing on drinking fluids up to three days prior to the start of something new because we, as Americans are so thirsty and dehydrated that it will take three days to get more balance in your life.  Here are a couple of lessons and tricks I learned along the way, but try what works for you and make it a happen or a known process that works for you so you can keep the thought as a tool when needed.

Purchase a large 2 quart BPA free bottle, jug and even a larger cup that holds more than just 8oz of water.  Just having the fluids close at hand and even by your computer or in the car will help you get the fluids your body so badly needs. Make it easy for yourself!  I still have mine and use them whenever I am going on a trip or just need to remind myself to keep drinking!  Remember that your cells are made up of 90% water just like the planet is made up of 90% water and you if your lips are dry, then you are beyond dehydrated and need to start drinking fluids!

Pick different types of fluids to drink throughout the day depending on what you like.  I love yogi tea and still make big batches of it which makes the house smell fantastic and then I can water it down if I like, but I actually like it pretty strong and potent.  To make yogi tea purchase these five items: Cardamon pods, cinnamon sticks, whole black pepper, a stick of fresh ginger, and cloves.  Try to purchase all the items organically.  Then, fill a large pot with clean happy filtered whatever is best that you have on had water and then put 2 tablespoons of each in the pot and a few inches of the ginger root, cleaned and broken up into the pot.  Now let it come to a boil and then cover and simmer slowly for about four hours.  Again, depending on how you like your tea, you can always add water when it’s done, but I never do.  I like it strong.

When it’s done, the tea needs to bind with a few tea bags of any type of tea that you’d like.  I use Pu-erh teas since they are fermented and support a healthy pH, but you can use just about anything and with caffeine or without – it’s all ok.  So, when the tea is done simmering, turn it off and then loop about 4 tea bags of something fun, even green tea or anything you have around the handles so it doesn’t fall in.  Then, give it a big stir and let it sit for the amount of time recommended for the tea bags themselves.  Sometimes I use loose teas and put them in a large stainless tea ball and throw it in the pot!  Play with the recipe and see what tickles your fancy.  But then, put it in your big jug and fill everything you have with the brew and put it in the fridge after you’ve drank as much as possible while it’s still warm.  The next day, when you get it, and before you drink anything else, drink about 8 to 12 ounces of the tea and feel the love.  Your body will express all sorts of toxins and the first time you do this you may even see sparkles as your body loves to detox!
