Join a public class at a private location each month to create a conscious sisterhood community based upon non-judgement and divine feminine support. Each month we will create a mandala of sacred objects while taking turns to set our hearts intentions out loud and with love in our hearts for our own journey. Circles start at 7pm and please bring a health snack to share. Contact Sandy directly for the private address for each circle.
Dates for the next three months are as follows:
- Tuesday, March 28th
- Wednesday, April 26th
- Wednesday, May 25th
Sandy Castillo aka Sarang Kaur took her first Kundalini Yoga class in 1993 at the Stanford University Recreation Center and didn’t know what she was doing, but all she knew was that she felt more centered and happy after each class. The teacher was an angel and as she went through class with their eyes closed feeling as if the teacher was talking directly to her because everything she heard was exactly what she was ready to hear. Fast forward to 2007 and returning from Switzerland to Houston, she instinctually knew that it was time for her own training. Sandy spent nine months in Austin training with Guru Karam, Mehtab and Siri Bahadur Khalsa immersing herself to become an Aquarian Teacher through Kundalini Teacher Training as taught by Yogi Bhajan, PhD in addition to Tantric, and Chakra Yoga Educational Intensives. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT 500 hour Certified Yoga instructor and has taught more than ten thousand classes since 1985 and continues training with Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, PhD and other incredible masters since graduating in 2008.
Sandy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 and utilized both Western and Eastern treatment therapies to quickly become a survivor continuing to advocate for increased personal awareness of anger and resentment, which has been linked to cancer. In addition Sandy continues to celebrate teaching group exercise for more than thirty years in addition to yoga and meditation since 1985.
